Rivers 'permanently' moves out of San Diego

Philip Rivers has moved "permanently" from San Diego to Florida to be closer to his family, the free-agent quarterback texted to ESPN on Sunday morning.

Rivers mum as he cleans out Chargers locker

Philip Rivers was uncharacteristically quiet Monday, after saying that he was open to playing for a team other than the Chargers following Sunday's season-ending loss.

Charger trail the Chiefs 10-7 after Philip Rivers threw his 19th inception of the season near the end of the first half. Rivers tried to complete an out route to Mike Williams in the end zone throwing into double coverage, but Kansas City safety Tyrann Mathieu came down with the football. Rivers had 22 combined interceptions in previous two years (12 in 2018, 10 in 2017).
