Just because I'm playing football, I'm still a human being. I'm still a man." Michael Bennett eventually cut the interview off.

Seahawks DL Jefferson tries to confront fan

Seahawks defensive lineman Quinton Jefferson had to be pulled back while trying to confront a fan in the stands Sunday at the end of a loss in Jacksonville.

As ugly as the Seahawks' loss was, especially at the end, they didn't lose any ground in the NFC West. The Rams lost to the Eagles, so Seattle can overtake the division lead with a win over the Rams next week.

The ejections of Seahawks DL Sheldon Richardson and Quinton Jefferson brings the NFL's total to 15 in 2017, the highest total for a single season since at least 2001 and possibly longer.

An incredibly ugly ending to this game. Quinton Jefferson was headed off the field after being ejected when it appeared a fan threw something at him from the stands. Jefferson attempted to climb the railing before he was pulled off. Sheldon Richardson was ejected the play before as the two teams went at it as Jacksonville was running out the clock.

Pete Carroll ran all the way out onto the middle of the field after another post-play scrum. Quinton Jefferson just got ejected. Carroll was called for unsportsmanlike conduct for running onto the field.

Sheldon Richardson was ejected for throwing a punch during that massive scrum. Michael Bennett was also flagged for unnecessary roughness. Another ugly end to what is heading towards a Seahawks loss.

This is very much a game again after long touchdown passes by Russell Wilson on back-to-back possessions. He hit Paul Richardson (61 yards) and Tyler Lockett (74) to cut Jacksonville's lead to six points. There's something about Wilson and the fourth quarter.

Russell Wilson's 61-yard touchdown pass to Paul Richardson gives him 16 fourth-quarter TDs on the year. That's a new single-season NFL record, according to the Elias Sports Burea.

Mike Davis has a rib injury and is probable to return. K.J. Wright will not return because of a concussion.

More injury trouble for the Seahawks. Linebacker K.J. Wright is being evaluated under the medical tent after he was involved in a hard collision. Seattle is alreadt without Bobby Wagner (hamstring), who has yet to return.

After three points through the first two quarters, the Seahawks and Jaguars have combined for 24 over the last five minutes. Jacksonville retook the lead with a 74-yard Blake Bortles touchdown to Keelan Cole. Both of the Jags' TDs have come with Bobby Wagner not in the game because of a hamstring injury.

The Seahawks got the takeaway they needed when Terence Garvin forced a fumble on the kickoff after Blair Walsh's field goal. Russell Wilson found Doug Baldwin for a touchdown, giving Seattle 10 points in a matter of seconds. The potentially bad news: Bobby Wagner has a hamstring injury and his return to the game is questionable. He's been dealing with a hamstring issue for several weeks.

Brady Henderson ESPN

The Seahawks are on the board via a 28-yard Blair Walsh field goal. No issue on that one. Russell Wilson's third-down pass to Tyler Lockett in the end zone was high and incomplete. It was an upset that he didn't look at Jimmy Graham, who's been his favorite target in the red zone of late.

Brady Henderson ESPN

Dede Westbrook got behind Seattle's zone defenders for the game's first touchdown. The Seahawks had done well to hold Jacksonville to only a field goal before that, but the lack pressure on Blake Bortles has been problematic. Only one official QB hit for Seattle, that coming from Frank Clark.

Brady Henderson ESPN

After a terrible first half on offense, this was not how the Seahawks wanted to begin the third quarter: intentional grounding followed by an interception and then 15 more yards for Jacksonville via an unnecessary roughness penalty on Jimmy Graham, the intended target of Russell Wilson's second pick of the day.
