Bill Belichick will be doing a voiceover leading into Fox's broadcast of Game 1 of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox on Tuesday night. Asked about it today, he said, "It was awesome. I was honored they asked me to do it. It was great to be a part of that. I don't really have much of a baseball background, but the World Series is one of the great sporting events in this country, and has a great tradition to it, especially with these two franchises. I'm very humbled to have been asked to participate in that. Look forward to watching some of it."

Source: Pats' Michel avoids significant injury

Sony Michel will be week-to-week for the Patriots after an MRI revealed no structural damage to his knee, a source tells ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Mike Reiss ESPN Staff Writer

On RB Sony Michel, ESPN's Adam Schefter relayed the following context from a source close to the situation: "Expect it will be a little bit but not overly serious. Won't know until they look at it Monday." Michel is walking without the aid of crutches on Monday morning, and is described by those close to him as being in good spirits.

Patriots players earned a "Victory Monday" from Bill Belichick and aren't required back at the facility for meetings until Wednesday. The fact the Patriots play a Monday night game in Week 8 might also be a factor in Bill Belichick's decision.

Patriots offensive snaps: WR depth chart reflects rise of Josh Gordon (61), who was in top-2 pairing with Julian Edelman (63). Then Chris Hogan (42), Phillip Dorsett (8) and Cordarrelle Patterson (6) round things out.

Patriots defensive snaps: Rotation of sorts at CB spot opposite Stephon Gilmore was a new development, with Jason McCourty (55) and J.C. Jackson (31) splitting time. That is a season high for Jackson.
