GM: Suns 'played by rules' in Jackson pursuit

"You guys know my connection to the Boston Celtics and the respect I have for Danny Ainge, but you guys also know how competitive I am and it is a competition," Suns GM Ryan McDonough said Friday without elaborating much more.

Suns GM Ryan McDonough said the only shortcoming he sees in Josh Jackson is his shooting. McDonough called Jackson one of the better passing wings he's scouted. McDonough also said he was impressed by Jackson's first step, calling it "quick," as well as his ability create space.
