No NBA team has ever finished the playoffs unbeaten. Might we see history this year?

At 10-0, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors have matched the best start to the postseason by any team since the 2001 Los Angeles Lakers swept their way to the NBA Finals and finished the playoffs 15-1.

While other teams have started 10-0 before losing a game, including last year's Cavaliers and the 2012 San Antonio Spurs -- who eventually lost a 2-0 lead in the conference finals to the Oklahoma City Thunder -- the top teams in both conferences have avoided a misstep long enough to legitimately pose the question of whether either one can become the first in NBA history to finish a postseason undefeated.
