On this day five years ago, Philip Humber authored one of the most unlikely perfect games in MLB history. His numbers as a starter following that outing were anything but perfect.

ESPN Stats and Information

Per the Elias Sports Bureau, Miguel Gonzalez allowed four hits and only one run while pitching one out into the ninth inning in the White Sox' 4-1 win over the Yankees on Tuesday night. Gonzalez became only the second White Sox pitcher in the last 30 years to allow one or fewer runs while pitching more than eight innings at Yankees Stadium. (Noah K. Murray/USA TODAY Sports)

An otherwise good outing by Luis Severino is being ruined by the White Sox's Garcias. In the third, Leury Garcia hit a solo shot. In the seventh, Avisail Garcia hit a three-run homer. It is 4-0 White Sox over the Yankees in the seventh. The Yankees 8-game winning streak is in jeopardy.

Luis Severino looks really good tonight as he has already struck out eight in five innings. He has allowed just one hit, but it ended up over the wall, a Leury Garcia 3rd inning homer. The Yankees are losing to the White Sox, 1-0, in the bottom of the fifth. For the White Sox, Miguel Gonzalez retired the first 12 batters he faced before Starlin Castro led off the 5th with an infield single.
