Jarred Vanderbilt had to be helped off the court late in the game. Looked like an ankle. Unfortunate. He's really started to put it together lately. Can do a little of everything.

Kentucky commit Jared Vanderbilt and Missouri commit Michael Porter Jr. had 19 apiece to lead all scorers at the Nike Hoops Summit. Alabama signee Collin Sexton led all players with eight assists. Vanderbilt and Michigan State signee Jaren Jackson Jr. finished with a game-high 10 rebounds apiece.

Kentucky commit Jared Vanderbilt has played well today (and all week) at the Nike Hoops Summit. Through three and a half quarters he has 17 points and nine rebounds. Wildcat fans are getting a very well rounded player in the 6-foot-9 forward (is dangerous from beyond the arc, too).

R.J. Barrett just got to see exactly what Mohamed Bamba's 7-foot-9 wingspan looks like up close. Barrett tried to throw an alley oop over Bamba but he didn't throw it nearly high enough to get it out of Bamba's radar.

Kentucky signee Quade Green is here, but not participating tonight. He sustained a concussion earlier this week during practice so tonight -- clad in sunglasses (sensitivity to light) -- he's supporting Team USA from the bench.

ESPN Stats and Information

Kentucky's Malik Monk was named the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year. Monk's 19.8 points per game this season were the second-most by a freshman in Kentucky history (Jamal Murray, 20.0 in 2015-16) and second-most by any Kentucky player in the eight-season John Calipari era (also Murray in 2015-16). The Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year has gone to a freshman in two of its three years. D'Angelo Russell won the inaugural award in 2014-15, and senior Buddy Hield won en route to winning the Wooden last year.
