Sister Jean bobblehead sales off and running

Sister Jean mania has reached another height, as the beloved 98-year-old chaplain of the Cinderella Loyola-Chicago basketball team again has her own bobblehead, with the latest version available via presale beginning Friday.

Incredible NCAA Tournament thus far and I want to congratulate my dear friends Leonard Hamilton and Porter Moser on their wins tonight.

Paul Sabin ESPN Analytics

Villanova won the NCAA tournament as an 8 seed in 1985, the lowest seed to win it all. Between Florida State, Kansas State, Loyola, and Syracuse there is now a 7 percent chance of a 9 or 11 seed winning it all this year (per espn.com/bpi).

'Is this really happening?' Why yes, it is

No. 11 Loyola-Chicago and No. 9 Kansas State advanced to an Elite Eight matchup that no one predicted in what was supposed to be Kentucky's region.

Porter Moser and Loyola of Chicago, has been on the right side of three buzzer beaters. Cinderella advances to the Elite Eight.

Myron Medcalf ESPN Staff Writer

Loyola-Chicago is a team that made 40 percent of its 3-pointers this season and nearly 60 percent of its shots inside the arc, all while playing top-30 defense. The Ramblers beat Florida in a true road game. The truth is that this is just a good team with a mid-major name and league. But they're as real as advertised.

Alex Scarborough ESPN Staff Writer

Don't tell 11-seed Loyola-Chicago it doesn't belong this deep in the tournament. Not with the way this team has played in high-pressure situations. Nevada made a run late, but Loyola came up with some big-time shots -- none bigger than Marques Townes' three with 7 seconds left -- to hold on and advance. The Ramblers will get the winner of Kentucky-Kansas State on Saturday.

Alex Scarborough ESPN Staff Writer

Nevada just doesn't quit (see: Texas, Cincinnati). It looked as if the Wolfpack were done for, playing bad defense and taking wild shots against Loyola, but they never panicked. And it's no wonder when you have a team with so much experience. All five of Eric Musselman's starters are upperclassmen.

Myron Medcalf ESPN Staff Writer

Loyola-Chicago gets back on defense. Really making Nevada work to get into the lane. And a Nevada team that loves contested shots is willing to settle instead of work to penetrate. And that has been their downfall. A cold team taking contested shots that aren't falling and refusing to seek an alternative.
