There's a 1 vs. 2 battle in the Big South this week, as Radford and Winthrop square off in a potential preview of the conference tournament championship game.

Both teams are coming off losses, with Radford dropping just its second game of the Big South season on Saturday, by one point at Charleston Southern, while Winthrop fell at Gardner-Webb for the Eagles' third loss in six games. Despite the recent defeats, chances are high that one of these two teams will end up hearing its name on Selection Sunday.

Both sides are familiar with the NCAA tournament. Winthrop has reached the dance 10 times since 1999, and Radford has appeared on three occasions.
