If you're interested in NCAA tournament upsets, the Atlantic 10 occupies a fascinating niche. Directly below the power conferences in quality but distinctly better than some other mid-majors, the A-10 is a breeding ground for an unusual number and variety of potential Giant Killers. Since 2013, when VCU joined, A-10 teams have earned 16 bids to the NCAA tournament and have won 14 games, including two first-round victories and four Giant slayings.

This has been something of a down year for the A-10 -- just three of its 14 teams rank in BPI's top 40 -- which makes its ongoing battles only more intense. The top six teams are separated by just 1.5 games in the conference standings, and the A-10 could send anywhere from one to three teams to the Big Dance. Which of those teams should you root for if you want to see maximum bracket carnage? Here's our analysis of the conference's best underdogs, plus two more contenders and one wild card that could trip up any team on this list.
