In a court filing today, NASCAR disclosed that the transfer fee for ownership of the BK Racing charter, according to its charter member agreement, is $50,000. The buyer of the charter — the sale is scheduled for Aug. 20 pending court approval later next week — must pay that fee plus $68,046 in unpaid charter member fees (entry fees), according to the NASCAR filing.
