Here are the updated rest-of-season points rankings for this week.
Trae Young moved up a few spots this week on the strength of his strong play of late, but he's likely to jump further next week with Jeremy Lin expected to be bought out by the Atlanta Hawks. Young was already averaging 20.6 PPG (45.3 FG%, 81.6 FT%), 8.1 APG, 4.2 RPG and 2.4 3PG in 31.1 MPG during his past 14 games, and those numbers look to increase if he picks up a chunk of Lin's minutes.
Jeremy Lamb continues to very quietly move up the charts. He has averaged 18.5 PPG (48.3 FG%, 92.3 FT%), 6.0 RPG, 2.5 APG, 1.8 SPG, 1.5 3PG and 0.8 BPG during his past four outings and has played himself into a nightly starter in most leagues.
Caris LeVert returned to the court on Friday after a long injury layoff and immediately notched 11 points, 5 steals, 4 assists and 2 rebounds in only 15 minutes off the bench. His role should expand as he gets his legs back under him, and he has impact upside down the stretch.
Kevin Love is back from his long injury absence, though he played only six minutes in his return on Friday and sat out Saturday. He is obviously on a minutes restriction to start, which limits him in the short term and lowers his ranking, but barring further setback, he should return to being an impact fantasy producer likely after the All-Star break.
Marvin Bagley III had the game of his young career this weekend, scoring a career-high 32 points on only 15 field goal attempts with seven rebounds to boot. Bagley is a rookie who seems to be settling into his game and projects as a strong play down the stretch.
Kenneth Faried picked up center eligibility this week and also jumped into the top-100 of the rankings. His role will likely shrink when Clint Capela returns, but his play has been so impressive -- 17.3 PPG (64.4 FG%), 11.3 RPG, 1.0 BPG, 31.3 MPG during last eight games -- that it's hard to imagine him going away completely even once Capela is back.
