Monday morning, the women of the USWNT, dressed in gray sweats and black T-shirts with the words "World Champions 2019" and four gold stars on the front, boarded the team bus to head to the Lyon airport to fly to New York City and begin their champions tour. A small group of dedicated fans waited outside the team hotel for autographs and photos from the World Cup champs, who will take the week to celebrate before returning to their various NWSL teams. "I haven't won an NWSL championship yet and it's on my list of things I want to accomplish," U.S. goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher said. "I will be taking a break. Seattle, I'll see you in a minute. I'm busy," Golden Boot winner Megan Rapinoe said. "No, I can't wait. I love the NWSL. I think the excitement is so much more now and hopefully we can ride that wave."
