With the second pick in the fifth round, the Dolphins selected former LSU defensive tackle Davon Godchaux. Miami needs depth at this position and someone to push former second-round pick Jordan Phillips.

Seahawks GM John Schneider said the reason that offensive line coach Tom Cable never met with second-round pick Ethan Pocic during the pre-draft process was because the team didn't want to show its interest. "We thought he was so versatile, we just wanted to be very careful with how much interest we showed," Schneider said. Pocic played mostly center for LSU, but Pete Carroll indicated that he'll get a look at other spots. "We'll see him at guard and tackle, knowing he can play center," Carroll said.

Bucs take a chance on Kendell Beckwith

Tampa Bay used the final pick of the third round on the physical, run-stuffing LSU linebacker, who suffered a season-ending ACL tear.

The Bucs use the 107th overall pick to select LSU linebacker Kendall Beckwith. With Devante Bond expected to push for the starting job at SAM linebacker, they need a backup at MIKE. Beckwith can back up another former Tiger in Kwon Alexander.

Falcons pick up ILB Duke Riley

Atlanta chose the reliable LSU LB in Riley, who made 40 solo tackles last season.

Falcons select LSU LB Duke Riley in the third round. Riley worked out for Falcons and visited during the pre-draft process. He's a three down linebacker and can contribute on special teams. Like former teammate Deion Jones, Riley wasn't a starter until his final year. Falcons address need for depth at LB.

Seahawks second-round pick Ethan Pocic said he started games at center, right guard and right tackle in college. He even saw snaps at left tackle during a game. Pocic did not interview with offensive line coach Tom Cable at all during the pre-draft process. He played in a zone-blocking scheme at LSU and said he's not sure where he'll start out with the Seahawks.

Sheil Kapadia ESPN Writer

With the 58th pick (second round), the Seahawks took LSU offensive lineman Ethan Pocic. Pocic (6-foot-6, 310 pounds) was a three-year starter who started games at both guard and center with the Tigers. He also saw some action at tackle. Justin Britt played well at center last year but is an unrestricted free agent after the 2017 season. Pocic will likely get a chance to compete for playing time at guard or tackle. And he can also serve as a backup center.

Amid the rush of emotions when he was drafted, Jets S Jamal Adams quickly focused on perhaps his biggest challenge -- the Patriots, namely TE Rob Gronkowski. "As soon as I got drafted, that's one of the first people I thought about, as well as the GOAT, Tom Brady," he told reporters Friday. "I have tremendous respect for those guys and that organization."

Jets first-round pick Jamal Adams said he was motivated by critics who said his 40 time at the combine (4.56) was average. He trained extra hard for his pro day, lowering his time to 4.33.

Bills CB Tre'Davious White says he was known as "Baby Shaq" when he arrived at LSU because his dad, wearing Adidas shirt in rear, looked like Shaquille O'Neal. White was selected 27th overall Thursday night.

Rich Cimini ESPN Staff Writer

ESPN's Jon Gruden positively gushed about Jamal Adams to the Jets. He called the former LSU safety the No. 1 player in the draft, adding, "I love the fact that he's going to the Big Apple. He reminds me of some of my favorite safeties – the Ronnie Lotts, the Rodney Harrisons. He's a wrecking machine, he's versatile, he can play in the post, he's a great one-on-one tackler. He's an inspiring leader and a quality person. This is a huge pick for the Jets." Sounds like Gruden is a fan.
