Tennessee fans at least saw some points this Saturday vs. South Carolina, though those came on three field goals, after the shutout loss to Georgia. Next up in the Volunteers' quest to find the end zone will be a visit to Alabama next Saturday.

After Tennessee's 15-9 loss to South Carolina, ESPN 300 running back Lyn-J Dixon tweeted that he is reopening his recruitment. Dixon had been committed to the Vols since June 24 and is the No. 168 ranked prospect overall. Tennessee now has eight ESPN 300 commitments in the 2018 class and is currently sitting at No. 6 overall in the class rankings.
Parker White made all three of his field-goal attempts, including a a tiebreaking 21-yarder with 5:17 remaining, and South Carolina produced a goal-line stand Saturday in the closing seconds of a 15-9 victory over Tennessee.

Tennessee coach Butch Jones confirms DE Darrell Taylor has been indefinitely suspended. Jones said "multiple factors" contributed to Taylor's suspension but didn't offer details. Jones said there are stipulations Taylor must meet to get reinstated.
Tennessee defensive end Darrell Taylor has been indefinitely suspended following his reported involvement in an altercation on the practice field last week.
