Recruit and return: USC Trojans

USC has won 21 games in Clay Helton’s first two full seasons at the helm, while building depth in the program at most positions with recruiting classes in the top 10 or in the neighborhood. Helton’s ability to win in 2016 and 2017 has set the table to more than compete long term against UCLA, with Chip Kelly now in charge, Washington, Oregon and all comers on the West Coast, both on the field and on the recruiting trail.
